The Schmidt space wheel have always been a favourite of ours due to their size, look and the way they sit on the car. For these reasons the wheel started to become quite popular, so we thought we'd move away from the crowd and do something different.

First the wheels were totally re-sprayed in Mercedes black to fit in keeping with the car.

The dummy split rim effect bolt mounts were then drilled and then tapped by a local engineering company to allow us to screw in a set of real bolts to give it a 'real' split rim effect.

The final modification to these wheels was to run a green pin stripe around the outside of the whole wheel.

As you can see these wheels now look perfectly in keeping on the car.
