Using a philips head screwdriver, loosen the two screws that secure the light cover to the rear spoiler.

Remove the cover from the car.

Pull the lamp housing out gently. This uses one electrical connection on the left which is why there is more grip on that side.

You will see that this light is made up of five little filament 'bud' lamps. These are held in tightly so removal is tricky. I recommend putting a cloth over the lamp and carefully gripping it with some pliers. Ease the lamp out gently.

When refitting to the car, ensure that the fitting is the correct way up. The sides should slope inwards towards the top as shown below. Be careful not to overtighten the screws when refitting the cover.
