One of the most common issues with the roadster inside door handle is that the pin works its way upwards, and pops out of the lower keep.

If your door handle stops working then pull the handle and look inside to see if the pin is moving, particularly at the bottom.

It is possible to get a pair of slim needle nose pliers in the gap and fix the pin back in place with some patience. This will save taking the door skin off.

Grab the pin with the pliers and push back into the door, and downwards. It may take a few attempts to locate properly, so check that the pin is not pulling at the bottom when you think it is located.

Another potentially costly visit to the dealers avoided!
