To do this conversion you will need a spin-on oil filter conversion, a spin-on filter, a 27mm socket, something to catch oil.

Start by removing the existing filter with a 27mm socket. Ensure that you have a tray under the car to catch the oil.

Lightly rub a small amount of oil around the rubber seal of the new adapter and screw it on as tight as you can by hand. Using a socket, give it a quarter turn more.
